 Beauty BNU Arts & Sound Student, Ministry Performer & Screenwriter 

Haylei is a 16-year-old creative with a passion for storytelling and artistic expression. After spending three and a half years in foster care, she was placed in a home where faith, discipleship, and serving others were a way of life. It was there that she experienced true healing and deliverance. Through daily discipleship, transparency, and living in a home built on faith, she discovered her identity in Christ and realized her gifts weren’t just for her—they were meant to serve God’s Kingdom. Now, she’s committed to helping others discover and develop their gifts.

Living in a Christ-centered home allowed Haylei to grow in different creative areas:

• Theater – Three years of experience in home and school productions, developing leadership, directing, playwriting, technical theater, and acting in four productions. Being in a stable, faith-filled home helped her build confidence, courage, and a deeper understanding of how creativity can be used to share God’s love and help others.
• Creative Writing & Poetry – Finding her voice and sharing her testimony showed her the power of storytelling. Living in a home where obedience to God’s will was a priority helped her understand the importance of communication and transparency, inspiring her to use writing to serve others.
• Music – One year in choir and orchestra, plus three years in a home filled with worship and prayer. Daily morning prayer and devotion helped her grow in her relationship with Christ, lead in worship and prayer, and perform at school, church, and Beauty BNU Arts & Sound. These experiences strengthened her walk with God and taught her how to lead others.
• Visual Arts – Gained experience in video and picture editing, drawing, calligraphy, and photography.
• Advertising & Marketing – Developed skills in branding and promotion.

As a screenwriter, a student of Beauty BNU Arts & Sound, and a performer in lead roles with EchoLight Studios, Haylei is using her creativity as a tool for healing, transformation, and helping others see God’s work in their lives.

Hello! I’m Chloe, a creative, joyful, and passionate storyteller who finds inspiration in music, books, and the arts. Writing has been a part of my journey since middle school.

My journey hasn’t always been easy. I entered foster care at the age of five and was placed in a faith-filled home at seven. Being adopted at 12 completely changed my life. Through discipleship, consistency, and biblical principles, I found healing, purpose, and identity in Christ. My home became a place of transformation, where I discovered that my voice matters. This gave me the courage to speak with confidence, knowing I could use my voice to inspire and encourage others. Writing small notes of encouragement and sharing them with strangers throughout the community became my way of spreading hope—uplifting those around me while also encouraging myself.

Before finding stability, I experienced homes where Christ was not reflected and intentional parenting was lacking. Even in my birth home and in other placements, I encountered environments that continued cycles of generational trauma. But through my faith-filled home, I learned to see things differently, unlearn unhealthy patterns, and break free from the memories of past pain. God’s love and truth helped me realize that my past does not define me, and healing is possible.

I am a proud student of Beauty BNU Arts & Sound, where I continue to develop my gifts in writing, dance, and performing arts. I’ve had the opportunity to write screenplays, perform on stage, and explore creative disciplines like coding, photography, and visual storytelling. Through these experiences, I’ve grown in confidence, leadership, and my ability to use creativity as a tool for impact.

Though I may be shy at first, I love stepping into new opportunities—except eating crickets! My passion for serving others, especially the homeless and those in need, comes from firsthand experience of the power of kindness, faith, and mentorship. Growing up in a home led by a mother who trained me and other children in the ways of the Lord, I learned the importance of a personal relationship with God, the fear of the Lord, and embracing the true Beauty BNU—being uniquely created in Christ.

Just as I have been encouraged, I want to use my creativity and compassion to bring joy, healing, and hope to others.
